Book Review of Deadly Pursuit by Irene Hannon
Allison and Mitch start out the story by getting set up on a
blind date with each other by her brother. They both expect it to be miserable,
but are to kind to cancel. They are surprised by the fact that they really like
each other and click right away. Allison is hesitant to move quickly into a
relationship because of a serious relationship that ended abruptly a year ago
when she was seriously injured in a car crash. Mitch is a coworker with Allison’s
brother on the police force. He recently moved to the area from New York and
had worked for the NYPD and was a navy SEAL before that. Mitch is a good guy
and fits perfectly with Allison. The romance progresses sweet and slow. Allison
is a social worker and someone from her past begins stalking her and it escalates
quickly. The story gets dangerous and suspenseful very quickly. The suspense is
definitely the main plot of the story.
